All cancellation requests must be made through:

Cancellations are considered valid only after written confirmation from Thanal Homestay.


2. Cancellation by Guest

a) Free Cancellation

b) Partial Refund

  • Cancellations made  3–6 days before check-in may be eligible for a partial refund as per booking terms.

c) No Refund

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in

  • No-show without prior notice

  • Early departure after check-in

In such cases, the booking amount will be non-refundable.

3. Refund Processing

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed as per our official Refund Policy:

  • Refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment.

  • Processing time may vary depending on banks and Razorpay payment gateway timelines.


4. Modification of Booking

Guests may request date modifications subject to:

  • Availability

  • Applicable rate differences

  • Prior notice

Thanal Homestay reserves the right to approve or decline modification requests.


5. Cancellation by Thanal Homestay

In rare circumstances (such as natural disasters, government restrictions, unforeseen maintenance issues, or force majeure events), if Thanal Homestay is unable to honor a confirmed booking:

  • Guests will be offered an alternative date (subject to availability), OR

  • A full refund will be issued.


6. Force Majeure

Thanal Homestay shall not be liable for cancellations or service disruptions due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural calamities

  • Government restrictions

  • Strikes

  • Power failures

  • Pandemic-related restrictions
